What are Buddha’s Relics?

Buddha’s relics are the remains of Buddha. It is considered rare to see Buddha’s relics in real life, making it a highly auspicious and special occasion for Buddhists and visitors. While many relics are permanently enshrined in stupas and temples across Asia, they are often not directly accessible to the public, and public viewings—particularly in Western countries—are infrequent. These relics will be traveling from Malaysia to Chicago especially for this event. It is great merits to pay respect directly to the Buddha’s relics let alone having the opportunity to personally guard them.
